Tamil Nadu NEET Seat Allotment Result 2026 Out: Round 1 TN Medical Result PDF Download

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Tamil Nadu, has released the Tamil Nadu NEET seat allotment result 2026 for round 1 counselling. The Tamil Nadu NEET Round 1 seat allotment 2026 result has been published in PDF form on the official website, tnmedicalselection.net, for both government quota and management quota seats.

As per the official notification, "the processing of seat allotment will be done on August 25 and 26, 2026. The results will be published on August 27, 2026." Candidates who submitted their preferences through Tamil Nadu NEET counselling 2026 round 1 choice filling and locking window can now check their allotment status.

Candidates who are allotted seats in TN MBBS and BDS round 1 counselling 2026 must confirm their admission from August 27 to September 5, 2026, before 12 noon. This confirmation window gives allotted candidates over a week to complete the necessary formalities before the deadline closes.

Candidates can follow these steps to check the TN NEET seat allotment result 2026:

1. Visit the official website, tnmedicalselection.net.
2. Under the UG Courses section, click on the link marked "MBBS/BDS."
3. Click on the link marked "Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2026 Seat Allotment Result."
4. Check your name and the name of the allotted college.
5. Log in using the required credentials, if applicable.
6. Download and save the Tamil Nadu NEET Allotment Order for future reference.

The TN NEET UG allotment result 2026 for both government quota (GQ) and management quota (MQ) is published separately, and the allotment result contains details such as the candidate's name, allotted college, allotted course, and category under which the seat has been allotted. Candidates should carefully verify all these details on their allotment order after downloading it.

Candidates need the following documents to take admission to MBBS and BDS courses based on Tamil Nadu NEET counselling result 2026:

• Tamil Nadu NEET UG allotment order
• NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard
• Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates
• Community certificate, if applicable
• Transfer certificate and conduct certificate
• Passport-size photographs
• Valid photo identification

Only candidates who complete the admission process before the September 5 deadline will be considered for their allotted seat. This makes timely confirmation just as important as checking the result itself, since a missed deadline could mean forfeiting an allotted MBBS or BDS seat regardless of merit.

Given that the confirmation window spans over a week, from August 27 to September 5, candidates are still advised not to delay unnecessarily, particularly since document verification at the allotted college may take time depending on the volume of candidates reporting simultaneously.

Tamil Nadu NEET counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions typically continues across further rounds after round 1, with the seat allotment and mop-up process handled separately for each stage. Candidates who are not allotted a seat in round 1, or who wish to try for a different college, should watch the official website for updates on the next round of TN NEET counselling 2026.
