The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to open the JEE Main 2027 Registration Date Session 1 window soon at the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA has already confirmed the Session 1 exam dates as January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30, 2027, with January 31, 2027 kept as a buffer date, and the JEE Main 2027 session 1 registration notification along with the Information Bulletin is expected to follow shortly.

How to Apply for JEE Main 2027 Session 1

Once the application link is activated, candidates will be able to complete their registration by following these steps:

  • Visit the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 Registration link on the homepage.
  • Select New Registration and enter basic details such as name, date of birth, mobile number and email address.
  • Generate the application number and password sent via SMS and email.
  • Log in and fill in personal, academic and category details as per your certificates.
  • Upload the required photograph, signature and identity documents.
  • Select preferred examination cities and pay the application fee online.
  • Review the form carefully and submit it before the deadline.

JEE Main 2027 Eligibility and Documents Required for Registration

Candidates who have passed Class 12 in 2025 or 2026, or are appearing in 2027, will be eligible to register, provided they have not exhausted the permitted number of attempts. There is no upper age limit for JEE Main. Ahead of the form going live, candidates are advised to keep the following documents ready:

  • Aadhaar card or another accepted identity proof.
  • Class 10 mark sheet and certificate.
  • Category certificate, such as OBC-NCL, EWS or SC/ST, wherever applicable.
  • UDID certificate for candidates with disabilities, if applicable.
  • A recent passport size photograph and scanned signature as per the specified format.
