Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2026 Stray Round: Joining, Fee and Penalty
Candidates pay the fee or balance shown in the allotment memo before they join. A stray round seat cannot be changed.
Government college allottees see the registration fee adjusted against tuition. Private self-financing allottees get it back after the closing date of admission, if they join. Anyone who does not join, or quits after joining, loses it.
A lapsed seat costs far more. The penalty is Rs 10,00,000 for MBBS and Rs 5,00,000 for BDS, whatever the candidate’s family income, nativity or reservation status. CEE can also bar the candidate from its examinations and allotments for up to two years.
