How to Check Maharashtra NEET UG Stray Round 2 Seat Allotment Result 2026?
Candidates can check their allotment status in these steps:
- Visit medical2026.mahacet.org/NEET-UG-2026/login.
- Under “Notification”, click “Provisional Selection List Only for MBBS/BDS Courses – Online Stray Vacancy Round 2”.
- Open the selection list PDF.
- Search for your NEET UG roll number or CET form number.
- Check the allotted college code and college name.
- Download the list and save a copy for reporting.
Maharashtra NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2: Reporting and Admission
Allotted candidates must report at the college by October 24, 2026, 5:30 pm, with all original documents and the requisite fees. The Status Retention Form must be filled at the college by the same time. Fees are as fixed by the Fees Regulating Authority and can be paid by demand draft or NEFT/RTGS.
The college will verify the original documents and eligibility. The selection stands cancelled if documents and fees are not submitted on time. October 24 is a Saturday, and the CET Cell has told colleges to treat Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days.
Joining the allotted seat is mandatory. Notice No. 24 cites Clause 20 of the NEET UG 2026 Information Brochure: a candidate who does not join a seat allotted in the last round, letting it lapse, cannot get admission in that group for the next two years.
The CET Cell requires fresh college choices for every stray vacancy round. Choices from Rounds 1 and 2 will not carry forward to Round 3. Round 3 choice filling runs from October 24 to October 25, 8:00 am, and its list will be declared on October 25. October 26 is the last date of joining set by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
