Important Note for Category or Quota Changes
MCC has flagged a specific requirement for candidates whose category or quota has changed within the same institution and course. Such candidates must obtain an online-generated relieving letter and take admission against the changed category or quota seat.
They are also required to secure a fresh online-generated admission letter reflecting the changed category or quota. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the allotted seat due to non-admission, so candidates in this situation should treat this step as mandatory rather than optional.
Since the round 2 list reflects both upgrades and fresh allotments, candidates should carefully verify their current status against the round 1 result before proceeding with admission formalities. Given the strict consequence for candidates with a changed category or quota, missing the relieving or admission letter requirement could mean losing a seat entirely, making prompt action on this document essential.
