UP NEET PG Counselling 2026 Schedule Latest Update
Round 1 registration for UP NEET PG Counselling 2026 is live on upneet.gov.in and closes at 11 AM on October 26. DGME’s instructions of October 21 make choice locking compulsory for seat allotment.
The notice went out on October 17, 2026. This round is only for state quota seats: MD, MS, Diploma and DNB, in government and private medical colleges across UP. DGME has matched its dates to the NEET PG timetable of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi.

October 26 has two cut-offs. The form closes at 11 AM, but the fees can still go through until 2 PM.
How to Apply for UP NEET PG Counselling 2026
- Go to upneet.gov.in.
- Register before 11 AM on October 26, 2026.
- Pay both fees, registration and security, by 2 PM that day.
- See if your name is on the UP NEET PG merit list 2026 on October 26.
- Fill choices from 5 PM on October 26 till 5 PM on October 30, 2026. Then lock them.
Don’t skip the lock. Filled choices that aren’t locked are left out of seat allotment, and DGME says that one is on the candidate. The UP NEET PG seat allotment 2026 result will be expected to out on November 2.
UP NEET PG Counselling 2026 Eligibility and Document Rules
You need to have qualified NEET PG 2026 to take part in UP NEET PG Counselling 2026. DNB is tighter still. Its state quota seats are only for UP’s in-service candidates whose names were on the list the Directorate General of Medical and Health Services sent on October 16, 2026.
Got an OBC or EWS certificate? It has to be dated April 1, 2026 or later. The format made for central government jobs won’t be accepted.
Carry every academic record in original when you go for admission. There’s a medical check by a medical board before admission is final. Missing papers, or papers that fail verification, mean the allotment is cancelled and the security money is gone. It isn’t adjusted against tuition fees either.
Got both an MD/MS/Diploma seat and a DNB seat? You can join just one. Private college seats are filled at nodal centres the state government picks, and your allotment letter will name yours.
