JEE Main 2027 Registration Session 1 Live Updates: Exam Dates and Application Form
- JEE Main 2027 Session 1 on January 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28
NTA will hold JEE Main 2027 Session 1 Exam date on January 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28, 2027. The dates are in the NTA public notice dated October 24, 2026. - Paper 1 in two shifts, 9 AM and 3 PM
Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM IST. Candidates taking both B.Arch and B.Planning sit from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. - City slip on December 30, admit card on January 13 (Tentative)
The city intimation slip is due on December 30, 2026. Admit cards follow on January 13, 2027 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. - Application form closes November 22; late window till November 26
The JEE Main 2027 application form closes at 11:50 PM on November 22, 2026. A late window runs from November 23 to 26 with a Rs 500 late fee. Corrections are open from November 27 to 29. - Session 2 tentatively April 2 to 7, 2027
The Information Bulletin lists Session 2 tentatively on April 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, 2027. It also gives a tentative application window of January 5 to February 3, 2027. NTA will confirm the Session 2 dates in a separate public notice. - NTA opens JEE Main 2027 application form
The National Testing Agency released the JEE Main 2027 notification and Information Bulletin. The Session 1 form went live at jeemain.nta.nic.in .
JEE Main 2027 Application Form Documents and Photo Size

The live photograph is taken inside the form. Switch on the webcam of the device you are using. If it has none, scan the QR code with a phone or tablet. NTA wants a white background, proper lighting and 80% of the face visible, ears included and no mask. The uploaded photograph must meet the same face rule.
PwD/PwBD candidates’ UDID details are checked against the government’s UDID portal. Those without a UDID card upload a disability certificate instead.
How to Fill JEE Main 2027 Application Form
- Open jeemain.nta.nic.in and sign in through MeriPehchaan, which supports eKYC using Aadhaar, PAN, Driving Licence or APAAR.
- Fill in the registration form and create a password. Note the system-generated application number.
- Log in again to complete the JEE Main 2027 application form: personal details, paper, exam cities, educational qualifications and uploads.
- Pay the fee online by net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.
- Download and print the confirmation page. It is generated only after the fee goes through.
The password must be 8 to 13 characters, with at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character. The same application number is used for both sessions.
If the confirmation page does not appear after payment, check the status with the bank first. Pay again only if the bank confirms the first payment failed.
Rules to Check Before Submitting the JEE Main 2027 Application Form
NTA does not edit any entry after submission. The full Session 1 schedule is in our JEE Mains 2027 registration dates report. The one-time correction window, November 27 to 29, 2026, opens only the fields NTA lists at that time.
- One mobile number and one email ID can be used for only one form. A parent’s number is allowed.
- A duplicate form filed in good faith is settled by keeping the one with a successful payment. Appearing in the exam under two application numbers is treated as unfair means.
- After the correction window closes, NTA will not accept any PwD/PwBD claim.
