JEE Mains 2027 Session 2 Exam Date, Admit Card and Other Key Dates
NTA has blocked six days in the first week of April, from the 2nd through the 7th. Each candidate’s slot within the JEE Mains 2027 Session 2 exam date window, plus shift and city, comes on the admit card.

Pay after February 3 and it costs Rs 500 more. It’s the same for every category.
Only the B.Arch Drawing Test is pen and paper, on an A4 sheet. The rest is computer-based.

The 3.5-hour slot is for B.Arch plus B.Planning candidates. Centre gates shut 30 minutes before the paper starts.
How to Apply for JEE Main Session 2 Registration
Applied for January already? Log in with the same application number and pay for Session 2. First-timers can sign up for just the April attempt once the window goes live, well before the JEE Mains 2027 Session 2 exam date. NTA will open it through a separate public notice. Till that notice is out, nothing here is final.
- Open jeemain.nta.nic.in once the form goes live on January 5, 2027.
- Have a Session 1 application number? Log in with it.
- Look over your details and choose your paper.
- Clear the fee by February 3, 2027 via net banking, card or UPI.
- Save the confirmation page, which appears only after payment goes through.
Session 2 is paid for separately: Rs 1,000 for a General male candidate taking one paper in India, Rs 500 for SC, ST, PwD/PwBD and third gender candidates.
- Applied for both sessions? The Session 2 correction window won’t let you change sub-category or PwD/PwBD status.
- Sit both, and the higher total NTA score counts for the merit list. The Common Rank List is prepared only after Session 2.
