The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has released the schedule for round 6 and round 7 of JEECUP counselling 2026 on the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in. This schedule is meant for all non-admitted candidates who appeared in UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2026 but have not yet been allotted an institute or course. As per the official notice, "the sixth and seventh phases of additional counselling will be online in which unadmitted candidates who have appeared in the entrance examination but have not been allotted an institute/course or unadmitted candidates from other states will be able to participate."

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has revised the Jharkhand NEET counselling 2026 round 1 schedule. As per the updated dates, registration and choice filling have been extended till August 21, 2026, and the seat allotment result will now be declared on August 23, 2026. The board cited a technical glitch on the server as the reason behind this revision, stating that the schedule for round 1 of online counselling under State, All India, and NRI Quota seats in MBBS, BDS, and BHMS courses had to be revised as a result.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has opened final phase registration and web options entry for AP EAMCET counselling 2026 under the MPC stream. The NEET UG counselling 2026 process for several states is now in its next phase. The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU), Assam, and the West Bengal Directorate of Medical Education (DME) had announced their round 1 schedules for MBBS and BDS admissions, and candidates are now past the registration stage in most states. As per the released state-wise NEET counselling 2026 schedule, registration under the 85 percent state quota for MBBS, BDS, Nursing, and AYUSH seats opened on August 13, and candidates in West Bengal, Assam, and Uttarakhand are now moving through verification, choice filling, or choice locking depending on the state.
